Visitor Policies at Durst Winery & Estate

At Durst Winery & Estate, our goal is simple: to offer a beautiful, relaxing space where you can slow down, sip thoughtful wines, and enjoy time with the people you love. To ensure a wonderful experience for every guest, we’ve outlined our current tasting and visitor policies below. We appreciate you taking a moment to read through them — they help us keep our estate peaceful, safe, and enjoyable for all.

Reservations & Walk-Ins

We are happy to welcome both walk-ins and reservations.

Small Parties (1–8 guests)
Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, and reservations are always encouraged — especially on weekends and during special events — to guarantee your seating.

Groups of 9+ guests
A reservation is required for all groups of 9 or more. A reservation fee secures your table and allows your group to enjoy the estate for the entire day. The fee amount varies based on group size.

To ensure smooth service and a relaxed atmosphere for all guests:
Wine flights are not offered to groups of 9+.
Groups 9+ may enjoy wine by the glass or by the bottle only.

Groups of 25+ or Private Events
Larger gatherings, celebrations, or private garden events are booked through our Events Team. Please submit an inquiry so we may curate a personalized experience for you.

Automatic Gratuity for Groups of 8+

To support attentive, high-quality service for your group and the tasting room overall, a 20% automatic gratuity will be added to all tabs for parties of 8 or more.
This ensures we are properly staffed and able to provide the elevated hospitality that Durst is known for.

Families, Children & Safety

Children are always welcome at Durst Winery & Estate — we genuinely love seeing families gather here. To keep all guests safe:

Children must remain supervised by an adult at all times.

For their safety and the safety of others, children may not roam the grounds unattended.

If a child is left unsupervised, we will gently ask the party to correct the situation. If it continues, we will ask the group to conclude their visit.

We share this with warmth and care — our estate includes water features, uneven pathways, wildlife, heavy equipment, and active service areas so attentive supervision is essential.

Pets

Friendly, well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome outdoors. Please clean up after your pets and ensure they remain with you at all times.

Outside Food, Picnics & Alcohol

We are a picnic-friendly winery, and outside food is welcome.
However, outside alcohol is not permitted under state licensing laws.

You are welcome to bring snacks, charcuterie, or a full picnic to enjoy with your tasting experience.

General Courtesy & Use of the Grounds

To ensure a positive, comfortable atmosphere for all guests:

Please treat the property with the same care you would your own home.

Dispose of all trash and picnic items before leaving your area.

Keep noise levels respectful, especially during private events or ceremonies taking place onsite.

Final pours are offered until 4:30 PM, with the estate closing at 5:00 PM.

Cancellations

For groups of 19–24 guests, reservation fees are non-refundable.
For smaller reservations, we kindly request notice at least 24–48 hours in advance if your plans change.

Our Heart for Hospitality

Everything we do is guided by our love of community and connection. Whether you're here for a quiet tasting, celebrating a milestone, or enjoying a family afternoon among the vines, we want you to feel at home.

Thank you for choosing to spend your time with us — we can’t wait to welcome you.
